I refuse to be known as a Chemical Plant Manager (I am). I tend to consider myself a process operator (I was). The singular benefit that this grants me is a little word called perspective; for the view from 30,000 feet is slightly askew from the shop-floor conversation with the 20-year operator who has been screaming (literally or on the inside) about how to change their workplace for the better. Drive the culture, Drive the processes, Drive the bottom-line!
